Guitar with Gary L.

I started playing guitar when I was 9 years old. By the time I was 18, I had played in two terrible rock cover bands, a bluegrass band that featured a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and also started a punk rock band. Since then, I have played keyboards, bass and guitar in alternative rock bands, acoustic/folk groups, a blues band, and am currently the bassist for a Caribbean steel drum band. I have also written close to 500 songs, 60 in the past two years alone. I enjoy being on stage, and really enjoy being in the studio as a session hand, but my passion is teaching others how to play keyboards, bass and/or guitar (or play it better) because frankly, in more than one time in my life, playing was the only thing that kept me sane!
