1991 Band Champions

RockonAmerica is a music performance program i created in 2000.  Its a fun music jam program that gets kids and adults jamming with other students of similar age and playing experience.  We do periodic fun and informal "gig' style concerts at local venues.
From 1980 to 1990 I was lesson manager for Baldwin Piano in NY.
In 1991 my group won the best band competition on national TV Star Search with Ed McMan!

In addition to regular one and one lessons, i also run Rock on America which allows students to jam and interact musically in a group of 2, 3 or 4!  We also do fun informal "gigs" at local restaurants and venues.

I offer lessons on Piano, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Singing, Creative Music (Songwriting and composition), Improvising, All music styles including classical, Rock, Pop, Jazz. Over 30 yrs experience, Star Search Winner 91'

I have been taking guitar lessons with Gary.  After only 2 months I am actually playing!!!!  What a high its been being I have wanted to play since I was a teen.  Gary teaches in a very relaxed comfortable atmosphere.  Been having a great time!  :)
