I am currently pursuing my Bachelor Degree at Northern Kentucky University for Music Education. Besides teaching lessons to students in my home and in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area, I also am the Percussion Director at Goshen High School as well as the front ensemble caption head at Beechwood High School. For my playing experiences, I am playing marimba for INov8, which is a WGI open class ensemble. I also frequently perform with Kincaid Regional Theater playing percussion for their musical productions as well as performing on multiple ensembles at NKU such as their symphonic winds ensemble, philharmonic orchestra, percussion ensemble and steel drum band. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Garrette has been extremely thorough and patient with me. He is teaching me how to drum well past my prime years and has been absolutely wonderful. He has given me great tips on how to work on areas that i have struggled with. I would definitely recommend Garrette for anyone wanting to learn drumming.

My son adores Garrette, after just one lesson. He is a very knowledgeable, respectful and inspiring young man. I feel like I not only lucked in to finding a great percussion teacher but also a role model for my very impressionable 12 year old. Garrette is highly recommended.

Garrette was great at explaining everything especially since i have no musical background. I love the fact that we are starting from the beginning and i am learning how to read music before playing.
