Hello! My name is Garrett Becker and I have been teaching lessons to people of all ages since 2012. I am a graduate of California State University Northridge and have a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies. I've played with tons of different artists and bands in a huge variety of styles such as; NIKI (pop), Mild High Club(Indie), Melissa Manchester(jazz), Little Shop of Horrors (musical). This makes me a uniquely versatile teacher as for my students I am able to teach them intimate detail about the music they are learning as well as how to accurately play it as well. When In a lesson with me, I make sure to tailor make each lesson for each and every student in order to keep them interested in what they are learning while also maintaining a clear and concise plan to build solid fundamental skills and beyond.
