I earned my Master of Music degree from the National P. Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine and Bachelor of Music degree (with Honors) from R. Glier Kyiv State Higher Music College.
My performance experience includes concerts in Zurich, Basel, Bern as a winner of Switzerland Round Table Club Competition; chamber appearances in Haifa (Israel), Koblenz (Germany), solo and chamber performances in Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall of Kaufman center, NY, in the Musicales of the Greater Princeton Steinway Society.
I am a co-founder and artistic director of Music-Fest Rising Talents Festival.
I teach in New York City, NJ or via Skype.
In NYC I teach at the music studio next to Penn Station. I can also come to your place if it is in 3 miles radius from Penn Station.
In New Jersey I teach at my home studio in Roseland or can come to your place if it is nearby.
For in-studio lessons in NYC I charge extra $10 per half an hour to cover the cost of studio rent.
For lessons in your place I will need to charge extra to cover the cost of commute.
My daughter used to take flute lessons with Galyna. I wish she didn't move from Princeton, so my daughter could continue lessons with her. Galyna's kindness, engaging personality and desire to help a student grow as a musician were important factors which contributed to a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere. Her own performances were always inspirational. She is a great teacher, and I highly recommend her!+ Read More
My daughter took lessons with Galyna for five years. At the age of seven she was true beginner - no experience with any musical instruments. Sophia really enjoyed her lessons! She ended up playing in a band in middle school and I attribute her success to Galyna's lessons. Galyna is professional, friendly and flexible. I would highly recommend her as a music teacher.+ Read More

I started to learn piano at my middle age. As an adult student, to have a wonderful teacher is very important. Galyna is such a nice teacher. I really enjoyed taking lessons from her for 5 years. She showed me how to play note by note, measure by measure. She also explained the feeling of the music and it made my piano playing musical. Because of Galyna’s teaching, my skills improved a lot, I also enjoy the beautiful music more and more.+ Read More
