Gail Sutton is an accomplished four and five-string electric bassist across all styles of music. She excels in live performance, songwriting, theory, arrangements and charts. While her heart was in British blues-based hard rock, Gail began her professional career in South Florida as a jazz bassist on the Miami Cruise Ship Circuit. She toured the Caribbean and later the east coast, working as a session bassist in Manhattan and the greater tri-state area. Gail has that rare ability to compose memorable bass lines on the fly. She became a go-to bass player for live and studio sessions, garnering a reputation for accurate playing, fast learning, being pleasant, consistent and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude even during long, grueling sessions. Gail is now based in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, working on new original music and video projects while putting the finishing touches on her own professional recording studio.
