Gabrielle Martin founded Vail Valley Violins, LLC in January of 2017, when, upon moving to the Vail Valley, discovered a great deficiency in classical music culture.
Martin began classical violin training at the age of 5. She, along with her parents and 3 younger brothers, performed in a family band starting at a young age. With a family background heavy in country music, bluegrass, and jazz, Martin is a well-rounded violinist and fiddler and enjoys teaching a wide range of skills to her students, while centering around the Suzuki method.
Martin moved to the Vail Valley in 2015 and began playing at a couple local churches, where she began receiving requests for lessons. In addition to offering private in-home violin and cello instruction, she started the After School Violin Club at Stone Creek in Edwards and Gypsum and group lessons through The Vail Church in Eagle-Vail.

Gabby has been teaching my daughter privately for over a year now. She makes the instrument fun to learn, has a great rapport with my daughter and gently pushes her to work harder. She also runs our school After School Violin Club that is fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone, young or old, wanting to learn or brush up on skills.+ Read More
