I was the head swim coach for Maple Springs during the summer of 2015.  I have also coached two other swim teams ( College Manor Swim Team & Muhlenberg Swim Team), both as head coach.  I have given one on one swim lessons to children of all ages for 5+ years now.

My main focus as a swim instructor is to help students achieve their personal goals.  For beginners, I focus on teaching them the techniques they need in order to properly swim all four strokes.  For more advanced students, I help them perfect their strokes, stay in great physical condition, and I push them to be successful competitive swimmers.

I have been competitively swimming since the age of 5.  At the age of 16 I was given the position as head swimming coach at a local swimming association.  Since then, I have been head coach to many different levels of athletes, ranging from the ages of 2 to 35 +.  In high school I competed at the state level, placing top 8 all four years.  Throughout my division 2 college swimming career, I traveled to the NCAA National Meet, placing 9th place in my events.  I hold two high school records, as well as two collegiate records in my events.  I also hold the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference records in the 100 and 200 backstroke.  Currently, I am training for the Olympic Trials in 2016.  Lastly, I have been giving private swim lessons to children of all ages since I was 17 years old.

Gabby is an outstanding swimmer, coach, and competitive swim instructor. Our two sons swim year long and have competed against some very outstanding swimmers. Gabby has taught our sons techniques that have made a difference in our sons’ swimming experiences. Implementing the techniques taught by Gabby, our sons have dropped seconds off of their best times and have placed in dual, invitational, and championship meets. Gabby attends to the precision of arm, hand, leg, and foot placement as well as to the details of body, limb, and head alignment to allow for proper and ideal aqua dynamics. These techniques are thoroughly taught for starts, strokes, turns, and finishes.
     Gabby is professional. She starts her sessions on time and does not end her sessions early. Gabby does not allow for distractions and focuses on her student swimmers. Gabby will often get into the water with the swimmers to effectively demonstrate proper techniques and body mechanics. Gabby will collaborate with the parents and the swimmers to optimize the swimmers’ experiences. She makes swimming fun. Gabby has such exceptional knowledge and experience in swimming, coaching, and swimming instruction that we continue to feel honored to have her teach our sons. Gabby makes a difference.
