Hi, my name is Gabriel and I teach guitar mandolin, and ukulele! 
I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. Styles ranging from fingerpicking, Travis picking (folk Americana classical) chicken pickin (country), flat picking (bluegrass) economy picking(fusion jazz) , alternative , sweep picking and most styles of guitar. 

     I’ve been playing music for 20 years, and have been performing for 7. I’ve studied music theory at sierra college for 2 years. I also play with the band Brotherly Mud who are hailed as the best up and coming Americana band of the Northern California region. I find my students needs and work with them! Whether it be theory, songwriting, technique or improvising.

Most beginners I’ve encountered have no idea what they want to play or even why. my suggestion is before coming to your teacher pinpoint the what and the why. Why did  you want to learn guitar? Was it a song, or a really cool sounding riff? Did you see someone play live and feel like “I could do that” ? What kind of music makes you tick, and grabs you? Is this just a hobby? For fun? Do you want to play an open mic night and maybe join a band? Identify the what and the why. The “when” is just around the corner 😉
