Fred is a working professional musician that plays around 120 dates a year all over IL and WI with Bella Cain. In the band, Fred sings as a bass voice and plays electric & acoustic guitar/banjo. On some gigs he jumps on bass and even drums. As THE country band in the midwest, Bella Cain has recently performed along side such Nat'l acts as Brad Paisley, Bucky Covington, Lee Brice, Justin Moore, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan. Besides Bella Cain, Fred also performs with his new acoustic duo, Voodoo Country, with Paul Hala. The group is a crowd pleasing, request taking, laid back show that covers pop, rock, and country hits. Fred occasionally uses that jazz performance degree and plays straight ahead jazz gigs and jazz fusion gigs with some of the best musicians in Chicago. I have over 15 years of experience in rock, jazz, blues, classical, heavy metal, funk, R&B/soul, reggae, country, bluegrass, and even hip hop. I will be able to help you reach your long term and short term goals. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, read music, learn proper playing techniques, write your own music, or learn music theory, I have the methods to make sure you're successful and have fun doing it. I enjoy working with all skill levels and have methods that will fit your needs. Even if you've been playing for longer than 15 years, I assure you that I can show you something new! *** Studio Equipment *** Separate room for music and recording. Seating for parents. Amps, cables, music stand, tuner, and metronome are all provided for the student. Students are responsible for their instrument and books/sheet music. *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide my own instrument, amp (if electric instrument), cables, tuner, metronome, and music stand. *** Specialties *** Jazz, Blues, Rock, Classical, Metal, Funk, Bluegrass, Latin Jazz, R&B/Soul, Reggae, Country, and Jazz Fusion.
