This position is a 6 week summer music camp. I am in charge of teaching group lessons for trumpet, theory, and french horn to students ranging in age from the third grade to seniors in high school.

What I enjoy most about the teaching process is, not only passing on my experience and watching my students progress from week to week, but also seeing their new found confidence in their abilities.  What I teach varies from player to player depending on his or her specific needs. No one method or idea applies to all player, students should expect to receive individualized guidance. My goal is to not only make a student proficient at the trumpet, but to also make them a great musician.

Frank H. Is available for in home or in studio lessons.  He has maintained a private teaching studio for over 8 years. He is currently an adjunct lecturer at the Aaron Copland School of music in Queens College. In addition to teaching, Frank is also an active freelance musician in the Tri-State NY area.
