I have been an active musician around the New York music scene for the past 8 years. I have played every club, ballroom and theater in the area. I also have done some touring in Europe. I have studied music for the past 20 years since I was a young boy. I have a strong background in jazz, blues and rock n roll. I have been teaching for the past 2 years at a music school where I teach students varying from age 6-65 to play, read and perform music. I am also an audio engineer who records and mixes musicians as well as working in a live sound venue. *** Lesson Details *** I believe music is a gift and should be enjoyed. I will teach you everything you need to know about music and the instrument. I also like to keep it fun by trying to tailor my lesson around whatever type of music each student wants to learn. I have learned that everyone learns differently and enjoys different types of music. I want you to play what you like while also giving you exercises with scales and reading to help you become a well rounded musician. *** Studio Equipment *** Living room with seating for parents. *** Travel Equipment *** I have guitars, a bass guitar and a keyboard. I also have a Macbook Pro with Protools 9 and Logic 9.
