An accessible sound system will be readily available for cases where the student and I might want to listen to the playing of the student. *** Specialties *** For all ages. The basic approach I take in my teaching method can be summed into three parts: imagine a sound, play a sound, and reflect on the sound. This strategy will be used for technical studies of scales, studies of Classical compositions, and studies of the students favorite song. The ultimate goal is help the student grow into a musician who can learn on his/her own. An additional skill of improvisation will be taught and encouraged through the use of learning scales, chords, etc.
