I was born in Italy and lived there for 36 years. I went to school there and I have a Bachelor Degree from one of the oldest Universities in Europe, the University of Verona. Before college, I attended the Liceo Linguistico, where I extensively studied Italian Grammar in connection to Latin, French and German. I can honestly say I master the Italian grammar in all of its structures. I am professional, flexible and I strive to meet my students’ goals no matter what level that they are at. I plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to a range of age groups, levels, individual goals and interests. I myself speak 4 languages and studied Latin in addition to that, and I believe that exposure is the only way to really learn another language. This is why I use conversation on regular basis during my lessons, to make sure my students can actively use what they are learning with confidence, starting with simple phrases and then gradually build up to more complex ones. Please note 30-minutes lessons are available online only.

I was born in Italy and lived there for 36 years. I went to school there and I have a Bachelor's Degree from one of the oldest Universities in Europe, the University of Verona. Before college, I attended the Liceo Linguistico, where I extensively studied Italian Grammar in addition to Latin, French, and German. I can honestly say I master Italian grammar in all of its structures. I have been working in Customer Service for an American Bank in Italy for the last 10 years. In addition to that, I have been tutoring students of different ages, Elementary School all the way to High School, since I was in college. I loved my job at the bank, but at the same time, there was nothing more satisfying than seeing my students succeed in improving their skills and achieve their goals. Since I moved here in 2017, I have been teaching Italian non-stop. I am currently tutoring about 20 adults who are trying to better their Italian. I work with children on a weekly basis and occasionally tutor high school and college students. I have also had the opportunity to teach local private schools, creating my own lesson plan and delivering it, while assessing the class and making sure the goals were met. I am a very passionate teacher and seeing the enthusiasm in my student's eyes when they learn with me is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My knowledge and personality combined with my love for sharing my language and culture is the key to the success I have been having. I easily adapt to my student's goals and levels and tailor my course plans to their learning preferences. I can engage students in person as well as online, thanks to my extensive expertise with online learning tools. Last but not least, I can answer any question about Italy and the Italian culture my clients have, I have lived there for 36 years and I go back at least 2 months every year! I typically help plan their travels too, when they ask. I am ready to help more people improve their confidence with their language skills but also present it to students who never heard it before and want to start as a beginner. I am knowledgeable, patient, fun, and 100% Italian!
