About Francesca C.
I am a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. I have a Bachelor's in Music from Berklee College and am currently in Graduate school at Cal State Northridge, studying to become a music therapist. My goal is to work with patients with Alzheimer's. I love playing covers of music from the 60's-70's. I am well-versed in every style however, so just let me know what you would like to learn. I love working with people and how happy and accomplished they get when they learn something fulfilling.
I started teaching when I was still in college at Berklee and then continued out here for a company called Music Teacher LA. I have taught students anywhere from the ages of 5-80.

Francesca has been teaching piano to my very active 12 year-old son for the past few years, and she is terrific, patient, fun, accessible and effective. Her methods are very structured, appropriately technical and yet totally engaging and achievable, so kids can make pleasant step-by-step progress without ever feeling overwhelmed. As the parent in the equation, I also appreciate that Francesca is easily reachable, very communicative, and totally tech-savvy. Francesca's lessons are the only online/FaceTime activity that I don't have to drag my son to. He genuinely enjoys learning from her and I'm really grateful for her skill and kindness with him!
