Pianist Florence has been playing piano since age eight and at age eleven began learning the trombone. While in high school, Florence began teaching piano and discovered a love for it. After graduating from high school Florence attended the prestigious Westminster choir college and received a bachelors degree in piano performance. While at Westminster, she studied piano with Jose Ramos-Santana and Lillian Livingston and sang with the world renown Westminster symphonic choir under Joseph Flummerfelt.
In addition to teaching piano and beginning voice, Florence is an accompanist/music director for various community theatres, choirs, vocal masterclass, workshops and summer theatre camps in and around the pa /NYC/ and Philadelphia area. She has also been a staff accompanist at Westminster choir college where she accompanied voice performance majors for lessons and recitals . Florence really enjoys teaching her student hopes that they are enjoying their musical journey as much as she is.
