I have been playing the clarinet for 12 years, and teaching lessons for 4 years. While clarinet is my primary, I am proficient in oboe, and flute as well. I make targeted lesson plans according to the needs of each individual student. I've been teaching private lessons since 2015 and have loved helping my students accomplish their playing goals through learning creative practice techniques. I went to William Carey University and earned a master's degree in music education in 2021. I'm an energetic person who listens to my students; my teaching style is student oriented and customized to each student's strengths and learning styles. I really loved how she broke the information down for my daughter. She's a beginner who needed addition help outside of her band class and Felicia knew exactly what to do. I will definitely be continuing our lessons with her!
