Hello all!

I have been sewing since I was 10. For about 10 years, I worked in a very high volume David's Bridal. During this time I was the Alterations Manager. I currently own my own business since 2010. I design home decor, fashion accessories, clothing and do alterations, while specializing in wedding gowns and special occasion dresses. I started teaching sewing at Joann's in 2009 and am currently an adjunct Instructor at Hudson Valley Community College and Schenectady County Community College. I teach all ages and skill levels of sewing.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching because I enjoy the challenge of helping someone understand. I see tutoring as teaching one on one. I will individualize each lesson according to the need of the student. I will not skip over something that is difficult for the student to understand. I will find another way to explain it or demonstrate it until the student gets it. I do this while being patient, kind, and fun! Students are never bored with me.
