Levels Taught:
My lessons will consist of adaptive teaching. Depending on age, I will approach teaching in a manner to instill the knowledge for learning music notation along with the ability to play the piano. Beginners: Ages from 7-12 years old will start with basic fundamentals of music. This will be active lessons with learning both music notation and the piano until the student can apply both skills together. Any ages higher above 12, will be approach with a similar method of teaching if they are beginners. Music selection for the students can range from any sort of genre depending on the availability of sheet music. This way it can be taught with the appliance of music theory while learning their musicality. Age difference comes with different types of music. Which I believe effects all of us. So the best music to teach the students, is through that connection. However Classical teaching will be focused heavily, because I believe it's the foundation to playing music. My goal is to teach the students the passion and inspiration of life. 'To do something' instead of 'not to do anything'. I want them to have music if not art, I want to give the students their creativity in life to be successful and happy.

Teaching since:

Hello, my name is Fang. I have been studying piano as my major for Undergraduate studies and have since finished my undergrad studies as of Spring 2018. I'm looking forward to teaching beginners in classical training. I want to teach an all-around encompassing a strong foundation for the piano. This includes playing the piano, techniques, hand coordination, ear training, improvising, beginner theory, notation reading, and anything else that interests my students. All in all, it's about having fun and learning to have fun with the Piano.

Fang is an excellent instructor. He knows how to help my daughter who is completely new to music grasp unique concepts and truly listens to input from the practicing experience.
