Music Theory with Faith D.

I am a 24 year old aspiring musician. I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I took a year of classical guitar lessons and have been teaching myself ever since. Because I am classically trained, I encourage my students to learn how to read music, although I also offer a more contemporary style of teaching. I have been performing since I was 17 years old. Mostly, in my home state, South Carolina, as well as surrounding areas. I come from a family of musical children, so I have been surrounded by music my entire life. I ventured through many stringed instruments over the years, including violin, double bass and mandolin. Because I am a singer-songwriter, I fell in love with guitar. I have taught acoustic guitar in after school programs as well as basic music skills in preschools. I have been teaching guitar privately for 4 years now.
