Welcome! I'm a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter in East Boston. I teach a wide range of skills, including piano, guitar, mandolin, singing, songwriting, and music recording / production. All ages and levels are welcome! Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen existing skills, you'll be surprised how fast you can improve. I teach music that you care about, whether that's Elliott Smith or Carly Rae Jepsen or the Undertale soundtrack or your own song ideas. Come see what you can accomplish! I base my teaching on the three pillars of music learning: Enthusiasm -- you learn best when you care about what you're learning. I don't use a one-size-fits-all curriculum; I help you learn the music you love, no matter what it is. Ever wanted to play Zelda songs on a real ocarina? Let's make it happen! Confidence -- the most valuable thing you can have as a musician isn't virtuosic technique, it's comfort and confidence in your own skills. That confidence opens the door to deeper musical expression that connects with listeners, and it is possible at every level. I write custom song arrangements for you so you can feel good about sharing music with others, no matter where you're starting from. Growth -- every song has something to teach you, but when you're starting out it's hard to know where to focus.
