Ezra is currently teaching my six year old son and I on the piano. He is extremely knowledgeable about all facets of the piano (eg, history, theory, fundamentals, artistry, technique, etc.). I have played piano in the past, but he is expanding the depths of my understanding of it. Ezra is able to be patient with my son, while still holding him to a certain expectation. His love and appreciation of music is apparent. I would highly recommend him.

Ezra has been an excellent instructor for my daughter over the past few years. She has grown from a fledgling beginner to a confident young player, gaining skill and confidence as well as an appreciation for music. Ezra balances encouragement with high expectations that help her to improve. I would highly recommend lessons with Ezra to anyone looking to gain proficiency and joy in playing the piano!

Ezra has challenged my 13-year-old son over the last 2 years! We are so pleased with the progress our son has made with a variety of piano pieces - classical as well as "popular." He has kept our son actively playing and progressing impressively with his piano skills! He communicates with parents frequently, and he connects and understands how to tap into a student's potential! We have been impressed with his teachings! Highly recommend him!

Our son Henry (8) has taken piano lessons from Ezra for the last few years. During that time, he has progressed from playing basic notes to playing real music and developing an appreciation for piano. Ezra is the perfect mix of firm & fun + encouraging & educational. His love of music and commitment to sharing his knowledge with others is apparent. Henry is lucky to have him as a teacher.

My son (10 years old) has been taking piano with Ezra for three years. Ezra is patient and warm but also has very high standards and expectations, which is crucial for young musicians. I've seen so much growth in my son's playing and his enjoyment of practicing. I highly recommend his teaching.

Ezra is patient and exceptionally gifted at explaining complex topics to students of all levels. His own excellence as a performer and composer make him capable of addressing both performance technique and academic musical concerns with great specificity and clarity. And he's just a nice guy!
