I attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and received a BA in History. After undergraduate studies, I attended University of Washington and studied writing instruction I have worked for 3 years as a special needs reading and math instructor for a company called Lindamood-Bell. Before that, I worked for 1 year as a writing instructor at University of California, Santa Barbara. I specialize in all elements of English and remedial math instruction. I teach reading, in context or decoding words in isolation, language comprehension, math computation and comprehension, writing processes, history, literature, and study skills. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs. I have worked with Autistic students, English learners, pre-K non-readers, Elementary, Tertiary, and College level, both undergraduate and graduate.
