I am a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne where I earned bachelor degrees in both saxophone performance and music technology. I have much experience playing both classical and jazz music.
I have performed concertos with The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra and the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Orchestra. I was a selected member of the Kappa Kappa Psi/ Tau Beta Sigma National Intercollegiate Band in 2015 as well as Music for All’s Honor Band of America in 2012.
I was selected to perform at the inaugural Manchester University’s New Music Mini-Festival in 2013, and I performed at the Lincoln Center as part of the New York City Jazz Festival with my jazz combo in 2014.
I have participated in the Eastman School of Music’s American Saxophone Academy, and has played on masterclasses for Dr. Fred Hemke, Dr. John Sampen, Dr. Ted Liley, Dr. Joseph Murphy, and Hans De Jong. My former teachers include Dr. Farrell Vernon and Dr. James Ator.
