Hello! Thanks for visiting my Takelessons profile. Let me start off by telling you a bit about myself:
I have been performing for over 20 years as a musician, acting since I was a small boy, and working consistently with public speaking, accent reduction and other presentational skills throughout my career. I started my musical education as a woodwind player and settled in to the wonderful world of singing over time. Music has opened me up to so many incredible opportunities from touring the world to performing in marvelous concert halls and working with some of today's most respected artists, as well as giving me the opportunity to expand my performance skills through acting in various plays, musicals, television, and film.
Performing has absolutely been my salvation! Throughout my life it has been a best friend and constant source of joy, and I share this gift with others so that it might help them to find the same joy. After more than 10 years of teaching, I have so many new experiences to draw from and share with my students. I've spent the last 9 years performing with Disney in California and abroad in their Tokyo Disney cast, and I must say that those experiences, vast and varied as they are, have given the word "performance" a new depth. I'm always excited to dive into every lesson with fresh ideas that will mesh well with many tried and tested teaching techniques.
Originally from Los Angeles, I now reside in Orange County and I'm especially proud to have expanded my studio to serving clients all over the world with online lessons via Skype and FaceTime! I get such joy from sharing my experiences with a diverse group of people from many walks of life.
If you're interested in learning more about my lesson style, feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to talk with you about a plan to help you reach your goals!
For Students of Voice: Teaching Style
Over the past several years I have focused much of my personal growth on developing my ears' ability to pick out and pinpoint vocal “placement”, resonance, subtleties of timbre, changes in pitch, breath support, air speed and flow, pronunciation and diction, and in general, the way in which all of these work together to create style. From these assessments, I work with the student’s particular needs to address each area individually and based on the learning style of each person.
To illustrate to the student their method as I see and hear it, as well as ways in which they might make changes to facilitate the ease of singing --be they changes of tessitura (range), length of phrase, tone color, the release of unnecessary tension etc.-- I make use of vocalise (vocal exercises), simile and metaphor, examples from recorded performances, demonstration, self assessment, and techniques to “trick” the voice into acting in a different way, in addition to videos, diagrams, and texts on anatomy and physiology. I feel that all of these tools provide a unique and personalized learning experience for each student.

Eulis has very modest and patient way of teaching. He makes learning a personal endeavor for his student that is clear to see after the first lesson
I wish I had the funds to do longer classes. He is good. I look forward to class session 2.
Eulis' wealth of music knowledge and expertise is extensive but what makes Eulis an outstanding teacher is his ability to listen, diagnose and instruct in a manner that is easy going, flexible and fun.
My daughter really enjoyed the online piano lessons and feels very confident in practice for the upcoming performance. We will definitely schedule additional sessions when she has practice for a few weeks. Your teaching the online piano lessons was a great alternative to traditional lessons and experience for my daughter.

Eulis is an amazing teacher.
He is vibrant, encouraging, and gives great examples (and often humorous) examples to help better understand working the voice.
In just my very first lesson, he pinpointed huge holes in my singing that I never even noticed before in recordings of myself, and attuned each exercise specific to my needs.
I'm looking forward to improving with him!
(and he definitely deserves all five stars)
He is so awesome!! Lean a lot 😃
Eulis's advise was very helpful! I do not have any experiences with spoken word. I have learned to wisely incorporate inflection and pauses in my voice! I am looking forward to delivering my first spoken word presentation!
I am a dentist and my wonderful assistant was having trouble communicating with patients. Her voice was flat and monotone and she would freeze up when asked a question. Outside of work her voice and personality was completely different, and I wanted to see it come out when she worked with our patients. She did 5 online lessons with Eulis using Skype. I noticed a difference immediately, she was more confident and her personality began to show in her voice. I am very happy with the results and my assistant has stated that this has helped her in both her personal and professional life. She is no longer freezing up when asked a difficult question and is speaking in a more direct and purposeful way. Thank you Eulis!+ Read More

Eulis is one in a million - he gives helpful constructive criticism while making you feel confident and at ease. As someone who can be rattled by being vulnerable in front of people, I MUCH appreciate this! On top of his knowledge and skills, his demeanor is also phenomenal. Playful yet professional, friendly yet respectful of boundaries. I'm thrilled I've found him and can't wait to see where my next lessons take me.+ Read More

I could not recommend a better teacher and person in Eulis. His kind spirit, patient demeanor, and gifted voice provides any student with a strong example of what a professional musician looks like. What most people need is someone who doesn't just paint by the numbers but who is able to assess your goals, talents and desires and match it with just the right program; you'll progress quickly and enjoy every minute of the effort. Because of his vast experience, breadth of skills and years of singing, Eulis provides the kind of musical insights that help you find out who you are and discover or refine your voice. Thanks, Eulis for all the great work we've done together and I look forward to more!+ Read More
Before we get to Eulis, let’s talk me ;) I am 18 years old, and until about a month ago I had not a bit of experience in singing. At all! YOLO though, so I got online and did the searches, and immediately found Eulis. I read he had some experience performing with Disney and he had some videos of himself singing. I was drawn in by his talent and apparent, very genuine love for voice and music, just as you probably were, in that you are taking the time to read his reviews! Anyways, let me just fill you in to how much more there is to Eulis. Right off the bat, Eulis is an extremely comfortable spirit who gives off a very sincere eagerness to help you in the journey to reaching your vocal potential. Every lesson I have had, I am surprised at how easy it is to develop a skill which forces so much vulnerability from those who try to master it. Eulis creates a completely safe and fun environment in his studio were you can take risks and play with music and your voice. I feel I have his complete dedication and attention in every minute of a lesson, and even through some assignments he gives me to complete independently. Also guys, improvement is fast under Eulis’s direction. In lessons he teaches to condition the entire performer. In other words, equal focus is split between the physicality and techniques of singing and the connection to emotions in music. The combination makes you feel more like a pro than you ever thought you would! Honestly, I could not be more confident that Eulis has the talent to bring out the best of my own. Just book your first lesson to see what I mean. Happy singing!+ Read More
Eulis is a consummate professional. He is engaging, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend him as a teacher!!!
