My name is Ethan. I'm a trombone player and teacher in the Madison WI area. I received a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Missouri State University and a Master of Music Performance - Trombone at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I have taught private trombone lessons since June of 2014. Currently I teach private lessons at Madison East High School, the Isthmus Montessori Academy, Middleton High School, Rhapsody Arts Center in Verona, WI along with other middle school students from area schools.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two cats, camping, kayaking, hiking and watching movies.
I am currently employed by Madison East High School to provide private lessons to trombone students in all grades. In this position is work with students on a weekly basis to help guide them in developing their performance ability through fundamental exercises (scales, warmups, tuning, etc.), individualized performance feedback, and repertoire choice.

I am currently employed by Rhapsody Arts Center in Verona WI as a Brass Instructor. In this position I teach private lessons to all brass instrumental students to prepare them for concerts in their school program, solo performances at rhapsody and solo and ensemble performances in the students district. I prepare my students by helping to develop their fundamental skills as brass musicians by providing them with performance feed back, exercises for furthering development, along with helping choose repertoire for their appropriate level.
