If you're an intermediate or advanced player who wants a teacher to help you take your musical and technical abilities to the next level, I'd love to help you! Or, if you are new to the violin and would like some help getting set up and playing your first pieces, I'd also love to give you a hand. I've been playing the violin for over 17 years and have worked with hundreds of students of all levels. My previous students have been as young as 4 and as old as 40. It's never too late to start! My goal as a teacher is to specifically help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician. I went to school at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and New England Conservatory where I majored in violin performance, with additional studies in string pedagogy (the study of violin teaching). I've been teaching for over 7 years and have taught many young children, adult beginners, and amateur players. I love seeing my students polish their pieces, and develop a greater love and appreciation for music.
