Hi hi! I am a professional drummer with a strong foundation. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Communications Studies and a Jazz Music Minor. I've been drumming for about ten years, spending time with some of the best instructors and the most dedicated ensembles. I was first introduced to the world of percussion through my high school marching band, as many are. Before that, I spent my musical time playing piano and saxophone. I pursued my focus of the marching snare drum for about five years, honing my rhythmic integrity and my technique in sound quality. My efforts brought me to travel with some of the best competitive marching groups like Blue Devils B', Atlanta Quest, and Boston Crusaders. I have since taken my knowledge and applied it to more musical endeavors, focusing on the drum-kit. I currently play and record for a Jazz/Funk group called the Family Recipe, and I utilize Louis Romanos as a mentor in the genre. Jazz/Funk/Rock/R&B are of my main interest and applying the performance structure I gained through the marching world has helped to boost my success in a short amount of time.
