Greetings! My name is Ethan E. and I have been working as a professional musician, composer/arranger, and teacher for the past 6 years. I tour nationally and internationally as lead guitarist with Minneapolis's very own Har Mar Superstar and am an active composer/arranger specializing in music for media, film, and anything orchestral. I have an extensively wide range of experience and knowledge in my specialized areas; having done work for the MN Orchestra, the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, the Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra, written music of nearly every style for clientele, performed and toured in a multitude of different ensembles, and have taught students aged 5 to 75! I love passing down my knowledge and sharing my experiences with the eager student and seeing the "lightbulb going off" expression on my student's faces when something "clicks"! Ethan is easy going and knows how to relate to my son who is reserved. He inspires my son to do more and dive deeper and gives constructive criticism in a way that inspires the student. My son would not have been prepared to apply to college music programs if it had not been for Ethan's knowledge of all things music, and his ability to teach and share it with my son. Because Ethan is actually out in the world making a living in the music industry and comes from a classic music school background he has so much to offer an aspiring musician and composer. And, he is on time and dependable.

This instructor is skilled at individualizing lesson plans for students of various skill levels and patient with students. I started out learning guitar with no previous experience, and I learned much within the first few lessons. I highly recommend Ethan as your music instructor!

Ethan is the best instructor I have had in helping me increase my skill in playing the bass guitar. He doesn't use a cookie cutter approach to instructing, but pays attention to where you are at and is very good at identifying what skills and knowledge are needed to help you move forward. Ethan is extremely talented as a musician and composer. His knowledge and understanding of music theory is impressive. I've really appreciated the opportunity to learn from him.
