Violin with Erin L.

Hi future students! I am currently a violin performance major at UGA about to graduate this year (wahoo!). I have been actively teaching for 3 years now both in a private lesson setting, and group settings. I have taught at Pope Highschool and the Atlanta Strings project, and with it taught many students in a wide range of playing abilities. I have attended countless music festivals over the summer, and have proficient knowledge in orchestral playing. I took lessons this past year from one of the top violin teachers in the Southern United States, Sonja Foster. With her instruction, I have developed practicing skills to teach to students of all ages which will have them excel exponentially in a short amount of time. I have also taken from countless teachers form various music festivals, and use a mixture of Sonja's strict practicing techniques and basic music theory skills to make students even go beyond just playing classical music with a beautiful tone!
