English (ESL) with Erin C.

Hello! I'm Erin and I'm here to help you bridge the gap between what you know and what you want to learn. I graduated with dual majors in Finance and International Business. After finishing high school, I began traveling and have lived in 5 countries in the last 10 years. This has given me the opportunity to learn more about languages, cultures and many different learning styles. I strive to help my students feel comfortable learning so they can be confident in their studies. I have worked full time as an ESL tutor for 3.5 years. I have also been teaching core subjects of Math, ELA, Science, History and Bible in my home and to my homeschool Co-op. I have experience with test prep ( Cambridge, TOEFL, TOEFL Primary, SCAT). My recent experience has focused primary on ESL, but my passion lies in education, and my strengths cover many subjects. Whether you want to proofread a paper, study the circulatory system, learn business English, or study the Bible, I'm prepared with supplementary material and an adaptive approach. I am both TEFL and TESOL certified. I have taught more than 12,000 1:1 classes to English learners. I have spent time translating at a University and also work translating and editing medical papers for publication. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
