Skilled actor teaching Shakespearean Acting lessons
Shakespeare wrote some of the best roles for actors, and his work is just packed with tools you can use to get the juiciest possible performances. I can help you find and use those tools, whether you’re highly experienced or you’ve never acted before. I learned the basics of acting through doing Shakespeare, and I’ve introduced many young performers to acting the same way. (FYI it’s totally normal if you hated reading it in school!)
About Erin C.

I am an actor, comedian, speech & dialect coach, and acting teacher. I had steady freelance teaching and coaching jobs for 3 years in NYC, as well as steady acting work in NYC and Chicago theatre for several years. I moved to LA from Cambridge, MA, where I earned my MFA in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard. I am still an active performer in comedy, theatre, film, and TV. I have coached privately and for theatre productions ranging from world-premieres to revivals of Pinter plays to musicals. I've directed Shakespeare and new plays, I've been a dramaturg, and I've coached auditions at levels ranging from school plays to professional work. I actively coach actors all over LA--and, now, around the country via video. I love working with actors of all experience levels, but I also enjoy working with non-performers who are looking to feel more confident in their voice and speech skills.

Teacher's Studio

Extremely understanding, helpful and an overall wonderful teacher to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to break down a dialect and really dive deep into the finer details to help you stand out against others.

Erin knows her stuff! I wanted to learn an accent for a character I'm playing in my Dungeons and Dragons game and she helped me out immensely. I cannot recommend her enough for any accent work you might need.
