I am a NYC based Casting Director and audition technique coach and teacher and have been casting for over 20 years for National commercials and voice over, well known TV shows/channels, webseries, and films. Actors working with me will have the opportunity to raise their auditions to a competitive level. I encourage and introduce unique, creative ideas to actors based on many factors...what I have observed in casting sessions that works and catches my attention, what directors, producers, and other “decision makers” respond positively to, my conversations with casting director peers as well as the specific trends. Actors will learn ways to feel more confident, relaxed and comfortable in auditions by learning the “behind-the-scenes” casting process that can make auditions very intimidating. They will gradually feel more in control and present in the audition room and consequently be able to perform at the height of their intelligence. I also have a strong background in comedy. I cast several hilarious promos for COMEDY CENTRAL for Amy Schumer Show, The Daily Show, The Nightly Show w/Larry Wilmore, South Park, & Tosh.0. Completed casting on a comedy series for TruTV’s Late Night Snack, titled “Blank meets Blank,” worked on the casting of films “Hedwig And The Angry Inch,” “Shortbus”, “Series 7,” “Great World Of Sound;” “Just Like the Son” w/ Mark Webber & Brendan Sexton III, “Doomsdays” w/Leo Fitzpatrick, “Hannah Has a Ho Phase” w/Kate McKinnon, “C Street” w/Dylan Walsh, Don Stark, Michael Gross, Jessica Blank & Grainger Hines, short films “Visit 57” directed by Kate Phelan; & a hilarious short film “Murphy Crib, featuring an ensemble of creative female comedy talent. I have cast comedic hosts for HISTORY CHANNEL & new dating show “Date Night Live” for LIFETIME as well as cast for FULL FRONTAL w/SAMANTHA BEE. I worked with & learned from top commercial & film directors, including John Cameron Mitchell, Tom DiCillo, Jesse Peretz, Matt Aselton, Phil Morrison, Jeff Preiss, David Gordon Green, Pam Thomas, Kinka Usher, Frank Samuel, Dewey Nicks Mark Pellington, Mark Tiedeman, Fredrik Bond, Stacy Wall, & Morgan J Freeman. I also graduated from Level 1 & 2 improv at The PIT, performed a storytelling at The Magnet as well as participated in the show Mortified.
