Super knowledgeable and easy to learn from!
Great energy and great teacher. Looking forward to learning more from him!
He is a really great teacher with super good music knowledge.
My 9 year old son really enjoys his lessons with Eric. Eric makes learning to play an instrument fun and approachable.
Eric was great with Nathan! He was calm and Nathan thinks he is very cool. Though Nathan is only 6, Eric was very patient and I think that Nathan really enjoyed his first lesson.
Eric is awesome
I have been working with Eric for over a year, and I would highly recommend him as a bass teacher. He has a good balance between fundamentals (scales, modes, fingering techniques) and learning songs. He brings songs from a variety of genres (some familiar to me and others not) but is always ready to work with me on a song that I find appealing.
Eric obviously enjoys music and wants his students to enjoys it. He knows that I learn best when I enjoy what I'm doing and am motivated to work by that enjoyment. If I struggle with one approach he will use a different one to get to the same end goal.
Eric pushes me to do more than just learn what others may have done, but to improvise and try to make my own parts. He is encouraging even when my fumbling efforts fall far short of my own expectations.
Eric helped me with guitar and Pro Tools. The lessons were very useful as I was recording demos which eventually turned into an EP. Eric helped me learn how I could add tracks to work I had already recorded in Chicago so we were able to work out some vocal harmonies and layers. The result was great. Once schedule allows I plan on resuming lessons if possible!+ Read More
Eric is a great bass teacher, who has been teaching me for almost a year now. He is passionate and very knowledgeable about bass guitar. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a good bass teacher.
awesome and funky bass teacher
Eric is an amazing bass teacher. He has great taste in music and he KILLS it on the bass. His funky grooves inspired me to practice for hours everyday. His music taste is very diverse, so if you have a song you want to learn he will probably be able to teach it to you. He also has a very keen ear and will teach you the skills you need to develop your ear so that you can jam.
If you want to rock at bass, definitely call Eric.
