    About Eric S.

    Mr. Eric Son received his BFA in Entertainment Arts and Secondary Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. For 15 years, he has taught high school students in Southern California. He has taught a variety of art classes such as studio art, graphic design, animation, video game design, digital photo, and video production classes. Before teaching, Mr. Son worked in the animation industry for Mike Young Productions in Woodland Hills. They produced PBS and morning cartoon shows including Bratz, Pet Alien, Doggy Day Care, Todds World, and many more. During his spare time, Mr. Son freelances for creative graphic companies and creates abstract paintings. His hobbies and interests include drawing and painting, exploring new places to eat, working out, sports, video games, and traveling. Eric Son, is a painter and mix-media artist who work in a range of multi-discipline form for it's explorative, forgiving results. While he explores and discovers new ways to create art, his goals are to inspire those who see his work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover the beauty, and invoke emotion in unusual places. He defines his work as a balance between mastery of technique, an opinion to express, and an emotional reaction. The ultimate goal is to seek truth and be unafraid to share what he finds.
