Piano with Eric M.

Eric is fantastic! I took piano lessons as a child and was looking to brush up on my music reading skills as an adult. Eric was the perfect teacher to help me regain my musical confidence. He is so patient, and is very thorough with his instruction. I received easy and fun piano exercises that I could work on throughout the week in between lessons. I also loved that he came to my home, and I was able to receive instruction on my home keyboard. He is a wonderful teacher!

Eric’s skills as a choir director are perfectly translatable to being an effective music teacher. He wants to help you put forth your best. He’s communicates clearly, can show you technically what he expects you to deliver, adjusts to different learning styles, and is very encouraging and kind. Eric also has high expectations and helps you believe in yourself!

I tried learning piano as a kid and just couldn’t do it because my family could not afford a piano in the home. Finally, as an adult, I decided to try again. I got an electronic piano and tried some online courses but it just wasn’t working. I found an ad for Eric’s lessons and the first one was great. He made the lessons enjoyable and more importantly the practicing excercises were tedious but fun and I could see how they connected with each other. Kid or adult, I would recommend Eric, comes to your home and will get you playing quickly.
