I've been playing drums for 20 years and have been teaching for 10. Playing drums has lead me to perform on dozens of albums, in front of thousands of people, and travel the world as I toured with different bands and performers. You too could have the same opportunities I've had. Wether you are just a beginner, or if you are very advanced and looking to go pro, I guarantee my lessons will be beneficial to your value in money, and time. As a student, you are the number one priority to me. First I assess your skills and get to know your interests. I only teach what the student wants to learn. If all you want to do is learn some basic grooves, I won't get into advanced rudiments and time signatures. However, if you are serious about your playing and that's what you are here for, then bring on the hard stuff! I give lots of homework so you get almost two classes of material in one. Beyond my main love for drums, I also produce EDM and other types of electronic music on the side. I enjoy playing the piano, guitar, running, camping, anything outdoors, and going to concerts and live shows. Soccer and frisbee are my main sports and I love going out on the water whenever possible. Fun fact - I'm located in the dairy state of Wisconsin, and ironically don't eat any cheese.
