    About Eric M.

I received my bachelor of music performance and education degree from the University of Iowa in 2009 and currently live in Oak Park, IL. I have more than 5 years of teaching experience in the public school setting, directing middle and high school bands in Idaho and Wisconsin. In addition to conducting full ensembles, I regularly taught students in these respective band programs, gaining experience teaching small group or individual lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students in grades 6-12. I enjoy sharing my passion for music with students and helping them to appreciate music and the arts on a whole new level. In addition to my teaching, I have had the opportunity to perform with various groups, from symphony orchestras to rock bands.
