Ear Training with Eric L.

Eric is a multi-instrumentalist performer, composer & educator specializing in piano and saxophone. Eric has performed and/or recorded with Joan as Policewoman, Lake Street Dive, Full Tang, The Superpowers, and Cuddle Magic to name a few. Lane has performed internationally in Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, Afghanistan, and India. Eric served on faculty of South Shore Conservatory from 2009 to 2014. In 2012-13, Eric taught at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music in Kabul, Afghanistan. There he taught lessons in classical and jazz piano, saxophone, composition, and he led an ensemble specializing in Afrobeat and African Hilife music. Eric’s original compositions and arrangements can be heard on Intangible by Full Tang (2012), Dry Bridge Road by Noah Preminger (2008), jumpstArts bu SSC (2013) and Boston Afrobeat Presents: The Superpowers (2007). The Superpowers’ forthcoming record will feature ten of Eric’s compositions and arrangements due to be released in 2015.
