My name is Elliot, welcome to my page!
I am a classically-trained Tenor living and teaching in Manhattan, specializing in a comprehensive training of the voice for people of all ages. I have experience with students from the age of 7 to 47, so come one come all!
I have a Bachelors of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in Vocal Performance in Opera, and have had the privilege of working with some of the country's most prestigious vocal pedagogues. I employ a working knowledge of the body, and a very specific and extensive knowledge of the history of the voice and singing to help the student find freedom and joy in their music. Freedom is the key word, and is something that I seek for myself and for my students. I tailor my method to meet students need, as every singer is different, but our main goal is to find flexibility, ease, and range in the voice. I use a method with hundreds of years of success to help the student sing what makes them the happiest, in the healthiest way possible.
I have experience teaching all styles of music. I believe that every single genre/ style is accessible to a freely singing voice, and so I use a classical technical approach to help the student sing their easiest, and their best. To find happiness, and to enjoy singing... because why do it if you don't enjoy it?
I look forward to sharing some music with you.

I had a great experience working with Elliot. He's in touch with the vocal instrument and knows what he wants with his sound, as well as how to lovingly bring it out in a singer. I loved working with him and hope to continue doing so!

Elliot offers a loving, yet honest atmosphere for everyone he mentors. He not only has experience honing his own vocal craft in multiple countries, but also is the most up-to-date teacher I know on current Broadway shows, music festivals, operas, concerts and even straight plays. He is constantly expanding his knowledge of proper musicality by witnessing first hand all types of performances from contemporary, hugely successful artist. He is certainly the right teacher for people looking for an insight on what is going on right now in the world of theatre and vocal performance.+ Read More
