I'm a working artist with a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Arts. I have extensive professional experience as singer and multi-disciplinary performer and have worked as a teaching artist both in and out of classroom settings. *** Lesson Details *** I enjoy meeting one-on-one with students to set goals in their creative work, and to build fun and effective structures to meet those goals together. I enjoy working with beginners in voice, guitar and ukulele, and am happy to take students as young as age 6. Find your genius! *** Studio Equipment *** piano, guitars, ukulele *** Travel Equipment *** I expect all students to have a notebook and pencil, and for voice students to wear comfortable clothes to move in. Ukulele students should provide their own instruments for instruction. *** Specialties *** I have worked as a Music Together teacher since early fall of 2012, and currently specialize in early childhood music. I also teach in classical and legit styles, including musical theater and baroque/early music, as well as jazz and folk/pop styles of singing.
