Regarded as one of the nation’s premier training programs for emerging professional musicians, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago has presented extraordinary concerts in Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center since 1919. Under the guidance of Principal Conductor Cliff Colnot, Judson and Joyce Green Creative Consultant Yo-Yo Ma, musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, CSO Music Director Riccardo Muti and the many guest artists who visit Symphony Center each season, Civic is one of Chicago’s great cultural and educational resources.

The National Flute Association, founded in 1972, is the largest flute organization in the world. Approximately 5,000 members from more than 50 countries join together in person, online, at conventions, informally and in forums, through publications and classrooms, in performance, in friendship and collegiality. Guided by its goals to encourage a higher standard of artistic excellence for the flute, its performers, and its literature, members include leading soloists, orchestral players, jazz and world music performers, teachers, adult amateurs, and students of all ages.

The Chicago Flute Club's mission is to foster the highest artistic potential of all its members through teaching, listening and performing. We provide a forum for activities of interest to flutists of all ages and abilities. Our activities are designed to promote, encourage, and nurture appreciation of flute music and technique, as well as provide an opportunity for social interaction among flutists.

Yoga Alliance is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Our mission is to spread the power of yoga one person at a time. We believe that the individual experience of yoga is of paramount importance, and are committed to supporting the passage of yoga from trainer to teacher, teacher to student, and student to aspiring yogi. Our role as the national support organization for the yoga community is to ensure that the practice of yoga will keep growing, so that more people will connect with yoga and be transformed. As an organization we keep several core values at heart: service, excellence, transparency, learning and community.
