Hi, there! My name is Emily and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2015. I have loved helping my students become more confident in their abilities, push themselves creatively, and make beautiful works of art. I'm a genuine and fun-loving person with a down to earth way of approaching art. My teaching style is casual, modern, and tailored specifically for what you are looking for. From basic color theory to self portraits to light/shadow studies, I can help with whatever "weak areas" you want to work on! I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock and earned a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with an Emphasis in Painting and Drawing. I am a practicing artist and actively exhibit in Dallas and the surrounding areas. I look forward to helping you reach your goals! I have students of all ages and skill levels so don't have any hesitations about reaching out for lessons.
