I am a Vocal Performance graduate student at The University of Kansas. I have my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Wheaton College. I specialize in opera and I have a background in musical theater and teach pop as well. I focus on the key elements of singing: breath, posture, diction, and acting.

Hi! I am a graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I am now studying at The University of Kansas for my Masters of Music in Vocal Performance. I teach classical singing (opera and art song), musical theater, contemporary and pop. I love working with students of all kinds.

My daughter has been taking voice lesson from Emily over a month now. She is really motivated and enjoying the class!  We are lucky that we chose Emily. My daughter is very comfortable with her and would love to continue the class. Emily is a wonderful teacher: in spite of her young age, very professional, punctual, knowledgeable. Great personality, easy to get along with. But the most important, she cares about her student. Absolutely happy to have Emily teaching my 15 years old daughter.
