I hold a B.A. in Communications from Thomas Edison State University. I have been tutoring elementary through high school students for two years. I aim to not only help my students gain proficiency in their subjects but also to share my love of learning with them and to teach them skills that will help them throughout the remainder of their education. During my senior year, I conducted a research project that examined how personality type influences communication style; I strive to use this knowledge to understand the unique needs and learning styles of each student I work with. I also have a background in amateur theatre, having acted in and directed several productions. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, reading on a wide variety of topics, and hiking.
