    About Emily M.

Trained in violin and piano from the age of 4, Emily began teaching in 2004. A second-generation Southern California native and the child of career educators, she chose music as both her passion and profession. She holds a BM from the Thornton School of Music at USC in Popular Music and is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston. Influenced through the combination of Suzuki instruction and fiddle music, Emily developed a unique approach to the violin that showcases her stylistic range and commitment to redefining 21st century, creative string playing. Fluent on piano and pipe organ, Emily continued to take keyboard lessons while at USC. As a composer, arranger, and performer, Emily's music can be found on all streaming platforms.
