Hi there! I'm Emily and I have been knitting for 23 years. As soon as I became a confident knitter, I started teaching my friends and family members how to knit. Over the years, I have gained experience helping others with their projects, troubleshooting the challenging bits of patterns, fixing mistakes, and of course, teaching beginners. No matter your skill level, I can help you expand your skills. If you’re a beginner, I can teach you the basics, help you select an appropriate first project, go to the knitting store with you and walk you through step by step. If you have knitting experiencing, I can teach you skills you’ve always wanted to learn, help you work through an advanced project, or guide you through fixing mistakes in a current project. There’s no knitting conundrum I can’t fix! I can teach you: ~The basics- casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off ~Finishing techniques - seaming, weaving in ends, blocking ~Advanced techniques - picking up stitches, cables, intarsia, increases, decreases, colorwork, circular knitting, etc. ~Project help - fixing mistakes, reading patterns ~Pattern, yarn and needle selection I love teaching and sharing the wonderful skill of knitting with anyone who is interested in learning!
