Piano with Emily C.

Emily is a Certified Simply Music Piano Teacher, and Licensed Kindermusik Educator and Avatar® Master. She has been offering piano lessons, music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading to students ages four and up since 2002. Emily studied with Professor Dennis Thurmond at the University of Southern California, where she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. She is also a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California. In addition to piano, Emily also teaches a music and movement class for children newborn to 7 years old called Kindermusik. She currently teaches Kindermusik classes in Little Acorn Montessori Academy in Alhambra, and in City Recreations of San Gabriel, Pasadena, Arcadia and South Pasadena.
