My name is Emily Camp (I go by Camp). I have been writing and performing poetry for almost seven years now. I have been on the Denver National Poetry team, performed as a runner up on the Women of the Worlds Poetry team, performed as a feature in multiple venues across the United States, as well as placed first in multiple spoken word events. 
My teaching style is fun, individually-centered, and efficient! I look forward to working with you and assisting in advancing your personal poetry career!

Hey all! My name is Emily Camp (I go by Camp). I am a full-time traveling painter, poet, and life-coach. 
Having over five years experience in the education field (from elementary school to special needs), I have a deep admiration for teaching and fostering individual learning with my students. My teaching style is fun, individually guided, and unique. With a focus on personal growth, specified learning styles, and a little bit of good humor, I teach in a way that seeks to not only assist my students but also to leave them inspired, challenged, and encouraged.

I’m a friend of Emily’s. I’ve watched them put so much care and thought into how they show up and share themselves with the world. In my opinion, they are a unique and loving person who is highly proficient and talented as an acrylic artist and poet. They have a lot of insight and they connect to people very easily!

Emily is an excellent teacher, engulfing herself completely into the education of her students. She bends over backwards to ensure that students learn to their fullest and she has such a huge heart. She’s compassion and kind and patient. She is an excellent artist, poet, and overall human. She has deep passion for art and for expression through art. Anyone who has the opportunity to learn from her is truly blessed.

Emily worked as a nanny for our special needs child. I can’t put into words well how wonderful she was with our daughter, how hard she worked to understand our daughter’s needs, learn therapy approaches, and see the world through our daughter’s eyes. Our daughter made incredible progress and had a blast with Emily in the year she worked for us. She also watched our son periodically and he loved the art projects they did together. She is outstanding and we were very sad to say goodbye!
