    About Ellis S.

I have a passion for teaching math, broad and extensive experience, and a strong skill set for presenting mathematical concepts. After a 35-year career in the analysis and design of airborne radar system (retired senior principal engineer from Raytheon Systems Company, PhD Electrical Engineering from UCLA), I have been actively teaching math since January 2000 (currently on leave of absence from CSUN, MS in Applied Math from CSUN). I immensely enjoy explaining difficult mathematical concepts in terms that students can readily absorb. Appreciating the fact that students learning styles have a large degree of variation, I present the material in a number of different formats, selecting the style that best fits the student. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN9CccombHE
